We are proud to announce that we now have Carbon Capture accreditation! We are using the Woodland Trust’s Carbon Capture scheme to help give back and curb our carbon emissions.
All our paper, covers, and backing comes from Premier Paper. The scheme through the Woodland Trust and Premier Paper allows for businesses to utilise the scheme to help moderate the CO2 emissions that are generated by our production, storage and distribution of the paper we purchase.
The money paid to the trust, through our paper purchases, go to the Trust to fund the planting of trees. This in turn helps to absorb the Carbon that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.
In total, we pay £8.50 per tonne of paper we buy through Premier Paper. This is calculated through the average amount of CO2 generated through manufacture, production and delivery of our paper.
So, what does this mean for IPV?
We are trying to give back to the environment as much as possible. As a company that uses paper daily, and produces our own notepads, we want to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Using the scheme helps us gain a better understanding of where our paper comes from and how we can help to give back.
We are always looking into more ways to make our business more sustainable and to gain as much accreditation as possible, so you, the customer, know that the company you are buying from is as legitimate and sustainable.
